Evening Promotions planned for Seattle Boat Show

Yesterday, members of the Boat Show Committee met with NMTA staff and the Tip Top Creative team to begin planning weeknight promotions at the 2010 Seattle Boat Show. Attendance decreases after about 4 pm on Monday through Thursday of the show, so the committee and staff are exploring ways to build fun attractions and promotions to drive an evening crowd.

The promotions will largely be focused on drawing an Over-21 crowd, with different demographics or segments of the boating community being targeted on different nights of the week. The committee is also looking at ways to address the ongoing complaint from attendees that food/dinner options within Qwest Field Event Center are over-priced and low-quality.
