In the throes of Safe Boating Week

As we gear up for the unofficial kickoff to summer, it's no coincidence that we are also in the midst of Safe Boating Week (www.boatwashington.org/). If you have been listening to the radio or attended the Seattle Sounders match last Saturday, then you may have noticed that the Wear it Washington! campaign (www.wearitwashington.com) has begun in earnest, too.

As one of the leaders supporting mandatory boater education in Washington state and fully behind the effort of the Boater Education Safety Card (http://www.boat-ed.com/Washington/index.html), NMTA encourages all boaters to ready, set, inflate their life jackets this summer.
