January boat sales strong

Very encouraging signs early in 2014 as numbers are in for new boat sales in Washington state. According to UW Sea Grant, which compiles sales data from the Department of Licensing, New Boat Sales by Dealers were up 50% in units and 35% in dollar value over January 2013. You'd have to go back to January 2010 and, before that, 2006 to beat those unit numbers, and to January 2007 to have a higher value of sales!
