As voters in Seattle continue to think about their choices for the city council, NMTA has endorsed several candidates. Specifically, NMTA has endorsed:
Position 3: Bruce Harrell
Position 5: Tom Rasmussen
Position 7: Tim Burgess
Position 9: Sally Clark
"We appreciate the public service commitment of all the candidates, but a consensus from our political action committee was formed around our endorsed candidates. These decisions were based on their experience, interviews and candidate viability," said Peter Schrappen, NMTA's Director of Government Affairs. "We look forward to working with them especially as they decide on the updates to the Shoreline Master Program."
NMTA's Political Action Committee, like all of NMTA's committees execpt the boat show committee, are open to all of NMTA's members. Please contact Peter if you would like to join the political action committee (peter at nmta.net)
